What is Cloud computing?
Cloud allows network-based access to communication tools like emails and calendars. Wats app is also a cloud-based infrastructure as it comes in communication it is also one of the examples of cloud computing. All the messages and information are stored in service providers hardware.
service used for cloud:
Infrastrucure as a service: In an IaaS service model, a cloud provider hosts the infrastructure components that are traditionally present in an on-premises data center. This includes servers, storage and networking hardware, as well as the virtualization or hypervisor layer.
Paas -platform as a service: Platform as a Service (PaaS) provides a runtime environment. It allows programmers to easily create, test, run, and deploy web applications. You can purchase these applications from a cloud service provider on a pay-as-per use basis and access them using the Internet connection. In PaaS, back end scalability is managed by the cloud service provider, so end- users do not need to worry about managing the infrastructure.
Saas-software as a service: SaaS is also known as "On-Demand Software". It is a software distribution model in which services are hosted by a cloud service provider. These services are available to end-users over the internet so, the end-users do not need to install any software on their devices to access these services.
Deployment host:
Public cloud: Public cloud is an IT model where on-demand computing services and infrastructure are managed by a third-party provider and shared with multiple organizations using the public Internet.
Private cloud: A Private Cloud is a model of cloud computing where the infrastructure is dedicated to a single user organization.
Hybrid cloud: A hybrid cloud is one in which applications are running in a combination of different environments. Hybrid cloud computing approaches are widespread because almost no one today relies entirely on the public cloud.
Host:
Server : A server stores, sends, and receives data. In essence, it "serves" something else and exists to provide services. A computer, software program, or even a storage device may act as a server, and it may provide one service or several.
Traffic : Network traffic is the amount of data moving across a computer network at any given time. Network traffic, also called data traffic, is broken down into data packets and sent over a network before being reassembled by the receiving device or computer.
Monitor / Maintain : Network Monitoring is the process of discovering, mapping, and monitoring a computer network to ensure optimal availability and performance. The only way to know if everything on a network is operating efficiently is with a network monitoring tool monitor.
Security : Cloud security, also known as cloud computing security, is a collection of security measures designed to protect cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and data. These measures ensure user and device authentication, data and resource access control, and data privacy protection. They also support regulatory data compliance. Cloud security is employed in cloud environments to protect a company's data from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, malware, hackers, and unauthorized user access or use.
Leading service provide for cloud :
AWS.
GOOGLE CLOUD PLATFORM.
MICROSOFT AZURE.
IBM CLOUD.
SE DIGITAL OCEAN.
What is server :
A server is a computer program or device that provides a service to another computer program and its user, also known as the client. In a data center, the physical computer that a server program runs on is also frequently referred to as a server.
Server used for things :
Highly storage.
24 hrs Internet.
High speed.
2 GB RAM.
Physical computer.
HIgh security.
Types of servers :
Web server : A web server is software and hardware that uses HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and other protocols to respond to client requests made over the World Wide Web. The main job of a web server is to display website content through storing, processing and delivering webpages to users.
LIST OF WEB SERVER :
1.Apache Server.
2.DOTNET
Database server : Database servers are used to store and manage databases that are stored on the server and to provide data access for authorized users. This type of server keeps the data in a central location that can be regularly backed up. It also allows users and applications to centrally access the data across the network.
File server : A file server is a computer containing files available to all users connected to a local-area network (LAN). In some LANs, a microcomputer is designated as the file server, while in others it is a computer with a large disk drive and specialized software.
Mail server : Microsoft Exchange, Exim and Send mail are common examples of mail server programs. A mail server works with other programs to create a messaging system. A messaging system includes all the applications necessary to keep email moving smoothly.
What is database?
A database is an organized collection of structured information, or data, typically stored electronically in a computer system. A database is usually controlled by a database management system (DBMS).
Types of Database :
- Relational databases. Relational databases have been around since the 1970s. ...
- No SQL databases.
- Cloud databases.
- Columnar databases.
- Wide column databases.
- Object-oriented databases.
- Key-value databases.
- Hierarchical databases.
