Mission: Is to make developer's lives more enjoyable and peaceful by creating wonderful tools to create web applications
INTRODUCTION
OF LARAVEL FRAMEWORK:
Laravel is a powerful framework of PHP which is used to develop
a web application. Laravel is
created by Taylor Otwell. This is simple, elegant, robust and easy to
understand to create a fully-featured web application. If you know basic HTML,
PHP, and Advance PHP then you can easily use this PHP Framework Laravel which
is reused the existing components of different frameworks.
What is Composer?
Composer is a tool dependency
management in PHP. It allows you to declare the libraries your project depends
on and it will manage (install/update) than for you. Composer is not a package
manager in the same a Yum or Apt are. Yes, it deals with “packages” or
libraries, but it manages them on a per-project basis, installing them in a
directory (e.g. vendor) inside your project. By default, it does not install
anything globally. Thus, it is a dependency manager. It does however support a
“global” project for convenience via the global command.
HOW TO INSTALL LARAVEL USING COMPOSER
Step 1: If you are
using xampp server you have to create a folder inside your xampp server at path
C: \xampp\htdocs\(folder name). I
had created the folder name as Laravel for identification. After that you have
to go inside your command prompt and give these commands and minimize the tab.
Step 2: Go to the composer website (getcomposer.org) and click download
Step 3: Then download composer using the link that I had marked below (Composer-setup.exe ).
Step 7: Next you have
to click installation via composer.
Step 8: Below installation via composer you can see some commands.
Step 9: Now come to your terminal (step 1) and give these commands one by
one.
1.
Give the command create-project laravel/laravel projectname and Press enter
In the project name you can give name
whatever you want.
2. Give the command cd mohan and press enter
3.
Step 10: Paste the URL in your webpage. Now you will get the laravel website.
